Andre Lajevardi (he/him) is a Middle Eastern-Hispanic actor who was born and raised in the Bay Area, California. Andre is now pursuing his studies at Penn State University as a proud BFA Musical Theatre student and is set to graduate in the Spring of 2026. After his undergrad, he plans to further continue his education and intends to apply for candidacy for a MFA in Musical Theatre Direction.
At school, Andre has been seen in many Penn State Centre Stage productions. During his sophomore year, he was in the companies of Natasha Pierre... (swing) and Urinetown (Robby the Stockfish). Andre most recently played Tobias Ragg in a colossal production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Next Spring, he is excited to be dancing and playing Toynbee/TV Announcer in How to Succeed... directed by MJ National Tour Assistant Director, Christopher Campbell.
This past summer, Andre took his endeavors over to New Hampshire. There, he worked at Interlakes Summer Theatre and performed in Newsies (Race) and did the Original Revival Production of Chicago (Bayliff/Clerk) directed by Broadway's Gustavo Wons.
Outside of school, Andre is the biggest gym rat. If you ever need to find him, you can consult the local gym. A fun fact about Andre is that he played varsity volleyball for his last three years of High School, so it's clear to say he loves being active. Andre is also a huge EDM fan, so make sure to ask him about that when you see him!
